Chris & Dawn's wedding.
Yesterday I was at Brantwood, the home of John Ruskin in the 1800's to photograph the weding of Chris & Dawn. After the service and photographs we then travelled to The Coot On The Tarn at Ulswick for the evening reception.

David & Sarah's wedding day.
Yesterday I attended the wedding of David & Sarah which was held at the Ennerdale Country House Hotel. It was great to work with the couple after the pre-wedding shoot that we had done a couple of weeks ago.

David & Sarah's pre-wedding shoot.
This morning I went down to Crummock Water with Sarah & David for a pre-wedding shoot. They are getting married in two weeks at Ennerdale and it was a very good chance to work with the couple prior to the big day.

Yesterday's portraits.
With the weather being wet yesterday I decided to do a few portraits of my son Ben and one of my Border Terriers, Jack. Both are getting very accustomed to being photographed now.

Ian & Julie's wedding day.
On Thursday I was at the wedding of Ian & Julie, the event was held at the Low Wood Hotel just outside of Ambleside.

I have so busy lately that I have struggled to find time to be able to do more portraits of my son Ben. Finally, last week I was able to get this one which I love. I now have one more wedding before a break for a couple of weeks so hopefully there will be some more opportunities soon.
Dale & Louise
On the 24th May Dale & Louise were married at St Andrew's Church, Mirehouse and the reception was held at Hundith Hill Hotel just outside of Cockermouth.
Oliver & Lynne's wedding day.
On the 09th of May I was at St Mary's Church in Whitbeck and then to Stanton Bridge to photograph the wedding of Oliver and Lynne.
Andrew & Lisa's wedding.
Andrew & Lisa were married at Castle Green Hotel in Kendal on the 02nd May and invited me to take their wedding photographs.
Noel & Jenny's wedding day.
On the 18th April I was at the wedding of Noel & Jenny to photograph their big day. It was held at St Paul's church in Seaton and then on to Hundith Hill for the reception.

On the 04th April 2009 I photographed Claire & Sam's wedding at St Michaels in Workington and then on to Broughton Craggs for the reception.

Malcolm Wilson Rally 2009
Yesterday I was again one of the offical photographers out taking pictures of this Cockermouth based event. The rally attracts 1000's of fans to the Cumbrian stages which include Whinlatter Forest, Grizedale Forest and Greystoke forest. The event this year was won by Steve Perez in a Ford Focus world rally car.

Ben's first portraits.
Well it's eight days since Benjamin was born and as all new parents we have been very busy & trying to get some sleep whenever possible. I have managed to get a couple of early portrait pictures taken in between it all.

The new arrival.
On Friday 20th February at 12.40pm my wife Rachel, gave birth to a little baby boy weighing 6lbs 2oz. Mum and baby are currently doing fine, so a whole new chapter of life and photography begins. As most parents, I wanted to try capture these early days and managed to get some pictures when he was only 10 miniutes old.

Haystacks
Here are some pictures from a walk up Haystacks today, the path up was a little interesting due to the snow and nobody elses tracks to follow so I think I ended up making the path up as I went along.

Tom & Becca's wedding day.
Last weekend I was at the wedding of Tom & Becca. The service was held at St Bridget's church in Bridekirk and the reception at Christ Church Rooms in Cockermouth. The weather was very wintery so the photographs all had to be done inside.
